The idea for this album came to me when my friend (you know who you are) said that I should release my old song "Midnight Owls" on Spotify. Of course I didn't want to release it just by itself because I didn't found it to be that great. That was when it struck me - what if I would revisit some of my old songs and see if I could enhance them. All the project files were long gone so I had to trust my ears and guts while making the new versions. Thankfully the songs were not that technical.

I also thought that it would be cool to include the original versions on the album so the listener could hear the progression (or regression in the same regard) I've made during the years.

In a way Midnight Owls is a time capsule. Tracks that have been long forgotten got a new life in this album.
